And Air Canada assures me that my suitcase with the thermal long johns is getting trucked up from Halifax today *shivers* until then, I'll be sitting here wrapped in a blankie reading Sesa and redlining the Victorian porn. With the very fluffy doggie humping my leg. Don't mind me. I'm encouraging warm fluffiness right now. Once the girlchild gets back from pre-school, I'll probably encourage napping almost-5-year-old on my lap as well :)

My new corruption of byrne has begun!

Last year I turned her onto popslash.

Now Little Ms. Ugh-I-Hate-Olives is nibbling on my Kalamata olives and liking them!

Later, I'll be making taramasalata :)

The boychild got his present... er, except that byrne is currently playing with it because it was bedtime. byrne also got her pralines and we've got a French Rugby team DVD to watch and Victorian porn to dissect and popslash to squee over :)

Best of all: I have thermal long johns. Aaaaaaaaah. To think that there was a time when I was to vain to be seen in thermal long johns! How silly we can be in our youth!

Oh, and there are wine and olives, and butterscotch cream shooters!

And the dog humping my leg. And the girlchild pinching my "nursies" (take note, tygerseye!). And a byrne to snuggle with!

Apart from the brrr white definitely-not-snow-trust-me-says-Byrne substance and the sub-zero temperatures, I love Canada. Oh yes.
