Ohhhhh. That smarts. Having to get up with an alarm again after four days of waking up by myself or the gentle ministrations of
zortwife (also known as banging on doors). The other thing that's smarting quite a lot is my left knee. I actually called off our workout early yesterday morning when it started twinging and it's still throbbing ever so slightly, which probably means that going on the elliptical machine for an hour 4 days in a row is a bad idea. Dammit. This aging thing was a terrible idea! First the shin splints, then the damaged knees. Customer service, I'd like to trade in this body for a newer model, please!
So CGB spent some time this spring getting a passport because I had a hissy fit about flying back and forth to Europe twice within a month last Thanksgiving and Christmas, and in the process he somehow finagled it that even though he's still technically dodging the Greek army, he can go to Greece even when there's no election-related amnesty. This is of the good. We were already planning to head over during election season this fall because of the afore-mentioned amnesty, but this makes our scheduling a bit more flexible and I can likely tack it on to that business trip to Germany I'm likely to have to take some time very soon.
Oh well, I suppose I had better start heading to the office and whatever chaos the two days off will have created in my mailbox.
